C&N Insurance Services Srl was established in 2004 to meet the growing demand at the time for Delegated Authority audits. Since then, we have carried out well over 800 audits for Lloyd's and the international insurance market, in Italy, Ireland, England, France, Monaco, The Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Malta, Greece, Cyprus, Finland, Slovenia, Lithuania, Luxembourg and Iceland.

The owner and sole administrator of C&N, Andrea commenced his professional career in 1991 as a premium and premium tax analyst at the Lloyd’s Italy office, becoming the Finance and Control Division Manager in 2001. A desire for a life change motivated him to leave Lloyd’s and move to Piemonte in 2003.
After a short period working in the wine production industry and having realised there was an opportunity in the market, in 2004 Andrea set up C&N Insurance Services for the purposes of undertaking of Coverholder, TPA Audits (and similar) and the provision of specialist professional services to (Re)Insurers, Lloyd’s Managing Agents and Company Market Insurers that grant delegated authorities. Andrea has also carried out accounting Audits for Lloyd’s Italy, with which a strong professional relationship still exists today.
Andrea is Treasurer of DARA, the Delegated Authority Reviewers' Association, of which he is a founding member.
It is Andrea’s firm belief that helping each other is the key to a strong community. He is passionate about mountain ranges, and regularly hikes distances of up to and over forty kilometres in a single day, up to altitudes of over 3000m.
An Irish national and a graduate of University College Dublin (1991), Pauline has resided in Italy since 1996. She commenced her career in Insurance as a Loss Adjuster in 1997 for a Milan based Loss Adjusting firm. Pauline completed a Master in Loss Adjustment Advanced with CINEAS at Milan Polytechnic (2014) and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
After Joining C&N in 2014, Pauline was fundamental in the company move from Auditing wholly Italian Coverholders and DCAs, to carrying out Audits in other EU Countries, starting in Denmark in 2015. Over the years since then, she has acquired a vast range of experience in the field of Delegated Authority and is passionate about the complexity and diversity of the subject and stakeholders.
Giovanni has over 30 years of experience in the Insurance Industry, as Finance & IT Manager at the Lloyd's Italian office, and from November 2017 as Chief Operating Officer at a London based Lloyd's Broker/Coverholder and DCA, until he joined C&N in 2019.
In the Delegated Authority field, in 2004 Giovanni contributed to the development of Mocha, and in 2010 led the team delivering DoPrint, the two web-platforms used by Lloyd's Insurance Company Coverholders and OMCs to issue Insurance contract documentation in Italy.
He studied Political Science at the Università Statale di Milano. More recently, he completed Process Analyst and Project Management courses at the SDA Bocconi.
Niccolò is a qualified Italian lawyer and has developed experience in compliance matters, regarding both Italian and EU regulations. In 2003, Niccolò graduated with a Degree in Law (J.D. Equivalent) from the University of Milan, passed the Italian Bar Exam in 2006, and in 2008 obtained a LL.M. with honours at the Fordham University School of Law (New York).
Niccolò practiced law at Ernst & Young and Duane Morris, before focusing on Insurance law and joining Crawford & Company Italy in 2012. At Crawford, Niccolò handled various types of claims on behalf of Lloyd’s managing agents and had the opportunity to specialize in Lloyd’s market procedures.
In January 2022, Niccolò started working with C&N Insurance Services, bringing honed claims skills and an analytic mind to the team.
Gabriella is the newest member of the C&N team, prior to joining C&N in February 2023, Gabriella was employed as a Loss Adjuster for the Lloyd's and the Company markets. Gabriella has resided in Italy for over twenty years and she is based in Milan. Gabriella is fluent in Italian, English, Swedish and French.
With a background in Administration and Accounting, Valentina joined C&N in 2013 and is primarily engaged as an External Resource for the accounting and processing of cashed premiums and the remittance of net premiums to the interested Insurers and premium taxes to the relevant Fiscal Authorities. Prior to this, she was engaged by Lloyd’s Italy for a similar role between 2008 and 2012. Valentina also provides administration and accounting support to C&N.
